Beyond offering unlimited seat time and the flexibility to choose car and track parameters at the click of a mouse, sim racing offers the unique situation of posing no disparity – cars are identical down to the 0’s and 1’s of computer coding.

Considering this, you can still find Kevin on iRacing at the top of the timing sheets and winning races, as well as holding numerous world record times.

With sim platforms getting closer and closer to accurately mimicking the physics of real life driving, Kevin has been an avid proponent of using the sim to sharpen his skillset, and add to his driving repertoire.

The sim still requires you to get the basics right; can you brake correctly, turn in at the right time, hit your apex – all things that carry over to the real car – the only thing that the sim can’t replicate are the external forces you experience.”

Specializing in the open wheel formula categories, Kevin has marked himself as a staple in the top echelon of iRacers in this discipline.
